Add Sprevi to your phone
It takes a minute, and it works like an app. There is no app store: you add it from your browser.
iPhone
Needs iOS 16.4 or later. Alerts only work once Sprevi is on your Home Screen.
- Open Sprevi in Safari and sign in.
- Tap Share (the square with an arrow), then Add to Home Screen.
- Open Sprevi from the icon on your Home Screen, not from Safari.
- Go to Settings, then Notifications and tap Turn on notifications on this device. Say yes when your phone asks.
Android
Works in Chrome, and in most other modern browsers.
- Open Sprevi in Chrome and sign in.
- Tap the menu (three dots), then Install app (or Add to Home screen).
- Open Sprevi from the icon on your Home screen.
- Go to Settings, then Notifications and tap Turn on notifications on this device. Say yes when your phone asks.
What you will hear
- notifications_activeOnly what you choose. New enquiries, replies, people you write to, people you have starred. Nothing is switched on until you tap, phone by phone.
- visibility_offPrivate on the lock screen. It says only what kind of mail arrived, such as “New enquiry”, never a name or a subject, unless you allow it on that phone.
- touch_appTap to open. Straight to that message. Alerts arrive within a few minutes of the mail.
- event_busyDays off, or one summary. Under Settings, Notifications you can switch alerts off on chosen days, or get one summary at the times you pick instead of a ping for each message.
Not signed in yet? Sign in or start free. Changed your mind later? Remove the device under Settings, Notifications: its alert address is deleted.
